More than 200 residents of Nangal Mundi and surrounding villages attended a free eye consultation camp on Sunday, 12 January 2020 at Sarvoday Sr. Sec. School.
What was provided
Senior ophthalmologist Dr. Prachi Jain from Shrikomal Eye Hospital, Rewari, conducted detailed eye examinations. Free cataract operations were arranged for identified patients, and medicines along with spectacles were distributed free of cost to all attendees.
Community response
Villagers — including the elderly and women from nearby hamlets — came in large numbers. The camp was inaugurated by a respected elder of the village who cut the ribbon, symbolising the community's ownership of the initiative.
Every grievance related to health access in the area has been recorded and will be followed up with the district health administration.
